Re: 2016 NWOGEO CACHING CALENDAR
Okay, just on the site and just starting to look, is there any idea were the first CITO event is going to be in April, or is it just 'do at own time' type of event and get the souvenir?

Thank youcachergirl27 wrote: CITO's usually start at 10 a.m., except the August one that is at 8 a.m. to adjust for the heat.
Spring Fling has traditionally started with the FTF drawings at 10 a.m. The potluck usually starts at 1.

Re: 2016 NWOGEO CACHING CALENDAR
I am assuming the times and locations for the Cito events vary on location but do we have a start time for the spring fling?

Re: NOMADIC.. NWOGEO Meet and Eats
I know I am just a newby by some standards, but I am looking at the nomadic events as a good thing. What I gathered with the M&E's is that it was designed to meet new chacers for food and fellowship, learn tricks of the trade and trade goodies. If we stay in the same areas all the time the only ...

Re: 2016 considerations for Spring Fling
Walbridge Park is small and expensive, and inconvenient for much of NWOGEO territory. It would also require people to use their cars to actually get to caches, since we couldn't get very many in the park itself - that also has its pros and cons. NWOGEO covers a huge area, and Toledo is on the edge ...

Re: 2016 considerations for Spring Fling
Lima is just so far away for someone who's car is falling apart. Yes, there would be a wonderful opportunity for caching on the way down, but quite honestly, Bowling Green is to far for my car.

Re: 2016 considerations for Spring Fling
I would like to put a vote in for Walbridge Park in South Toledo. It's across the street from the Toledo Zoo. It has a covered picnic area as well as a rent able hall and a gazebo that have had everything from weddings to park concerts. There are no active caches that I know of in the park but there...

Re: 2015 NWOGEO HOLIDAY SHINDIG
To bad it couldn't be in Toledo. It would make it a lot easier for me to get there. I will do my best. Catcachn really wants to go.
