I will bring an assortment of chips as a side/snack food for the event.

Re: 2018 Event Calendar

If the CITO dates have not been set yet, I have the dates for the annual CITO events:
  • Spring CITO: April 21-29, 2018
  • Fall CITO: September 15-23, 2018
It looks like the Fall CITO can't line up with the roadside cleanup if we kept the April/June/August/October schedule, but the spring could.

2018 Event Calendar

I was curious if there was any information available for any of the upcoming annual events. I know the Spring Fling is going to be in May per tradition, but was hoping to find out which weekend specifically.

Multi Milestone

I'm nearing my 200th multi-cache find, and was looking for an unique/historic/special/etc. multi to use for it. Does anyone have any suggestions, Northwest Ohio or otherwise?

Lake Erie Island event?

Just putting out general feelers. Would there be interest from the community for an event at Put-in-Bay or Kelleys Island? Not sure what the event would entail, but might bring a bunch of us to a new area to explore.

Re: 2016 Geocaching Resolutions

How's everyone doing on their resolutions? 1. Dependent entirely on if I reach some power trails over the summer. Right now on track for 6500 or so finds (career). 2. Planning stages 3. 0/4. 4. Not on my radar yet. 5. Indiana is looking likely, Illinois significantly less so. No chance on Ohio.

I'm Eric, aka AngelusCowl. Starting caching back in 2012. Lived in Illinois just up until New Year's. I'm a member of GONIL and CIGA as well. I enjoyed working on DeLorme and All-County challenges, and am a big supporter of non-traditional hides.

In high school, all my friends had xbox gamertags that started with Angelus then a second word. Additionally, Cowl is one of my favorite characters from a book series.

Other Gelocation-Based games

Just curious as to what other geolocation games everyone here does (Ingress, Munzee, etc.). I myself am mildly active in Ingress on Resistance, and plan to try out Pokemon Go when it's released.

Re: 2016 Geocaching Resolutions

I'd honestly forgotten about these until I saw this topic. 1.Reach 7,000 finds 2. Place a small Geo-Art 3. Host a Geocaching event in at least 4 states 4. Build a Wherigo for Findlay 5. Complete Illinois/Indiana/Ohio County and DeLorme challenges As of now, 1. About 1500 away (possible but tricky wi...
