Re: How to add the NWOGEO logo to a GC Cache Page

I just used it. I should add it to all of our owned caches.

I got to read your note there and it wasn't worthy of being deleted.

We'll be there after I get in an early morning bike ride. Might do the Independence Dam again.

Mina, I forgot to mention that the bike folds in half so it can sit on the passenger seat of the truck or go in the trunk of the car.

I only crash when I'm on ice. Been several decades since doing anything that silly.

Re: Which GPS Do You Like??

Here's what I came up with. When I opened the box last night I thought I was in trouble. This thing is big. But I got it wrapped around and it's really solid. Sits way lower than my phone, which is hooked up to a portable battery pack. http://www.forum.haroldandrews.com/gallery/53/medium/7560.jpg ht...

Re: Which GPS Do You Like??

I had been just hanging it around my neck with a lanyard. I just ordered the more expensive Ram mount with the u-bolt from Amazon. I have a Ram mount for my Motorola Droid 3 and I really like it. Guess I''l find out in a week how far it sits above the handlebars. It looks kind of tall.

Re: Which GPS Do You Like??

I upgraded this spring to a Garmin GPSmap 62s with our trusty Garmin eTrex Venture HC as a backup now. I got the streetmaps card for road navigation to a cache, then switch to the compass screen for making the find. Worked really slick on a Michigan bike path this week.

Re: Bike the abandoned pike

Just got the room reservations tonight, so we are definitely going.

I'm pretty sure my boss lady in charge is getting a new car next week, so we probably won't have room for anyone else unless we get a bike carrier.

Re: Bike the abandoned pike

I've put in a vacation request for this at work. Will be booking two nights at the Holiday Express in Breezewood soon. The other motels there had too many bad reviews. We'll be dropping down US 127 to I 70 to color in some Ohio counties. Then will probably run over to New Stanton and jump on US 30 o...

Bike the abandoned pike

In Breezewood, PA. Several caches and two turnpike tunnels to hike or bike. This is on Saturday, August 25th and I'm VERY tempted by this event. Anyone else interested?
