Re: ammo cans
Sent you an email before I saw this. Looks like you got a good deal. The offer is always there if you need another one. I do not really think I will have a chance to hide it any time soon.

Re: ammo cans
I wouldn't even know the going rate on those darn boxes. I do have one and live in cache heavy West Toledo where most big caches get muggled soon after they are placed. We can make a deal for the one I have at about free dollars and zero change. You can work me down from this price if you would like...

Re: NWOGEO Yr 7 Adopt-A-Highway/CITO: #2 of 4 in 10'
I won't be able to attend this CITO event though I have always wanted to help. This time I will be heading East to help some family who lost their home last weekend. Don't know what they need but I am going to give them everything I have in me to hopefully make a difference.

Re: Geocaching in the Local News
We have it figured out that the Toledo Blade was present for the Library event but who were the three other notepad/camera carrying people representing? I know the one girl was from the library staff but there were others taking pictures. It would be cool to get all the pictures on this site as well...

You can get this movie on VOD on Buckeye Cable for a couple weeks. I however have not taken advantage of this opportunity. I want Cheech Honors on the viewing.

Definately a good presentation and good caching effort. I look forward to going after the other caches. Thank you CAAGD and all those involved in making it possible.

Re: geo shoes
Locked my bike to a rack once and they took the whole rack. Just my luck. Guess I shouldn't have locked my bike up to the front of the TARTA bus. You live, you learn.

Re: geo shoes
I love getting the bike on the trails as well. Regretfully, I find that it can be a little scary leaving my bike to go in after the cache at a few places. The LOST series had me nervous that as I went deep into the woods, my bike would be vunerable even if I pulled it into hiding. Again a weakness i...

Re: geo shoes
I take advantage of a few caches that are at the other end of a park or field. I will park far away and run from there. I may only get one or two caches this way but at least I have a goal for the run. I would love to get out on the bike trail and grab them as I go. That will be a spring time/ summe...

Re: geo shoes
I prefer wearing New Balance trail running shoes as I am usually trying to blend caching with runnning to "kill two birds with one stone". Regretfully, with running shoes(and all athletic shoes) they are always trying to "make them better" and therefore if I find a good shoe that...

What are the coordinates to receive the pie? Sorry couldn't resist. My ADHD and mentality of always veering off topic just couldn't hold back.

I wish I could join you guys but I have tickets to the UM/EMU game and then a diaper party in the evening. Have fun out in Tiffin. Wish I could spend a day out caching a new town.

Re: Cool Kitsch in the Toledo Blade today
It is funny that they brought up "Uncle Sam" as a caching site but missed the fact that there is one at "Giant Jacques" as well. Odds are wherever you find an interesting statue or landmark, you will also find a cache. And that is why I love caching. Helps point out those things ...

The cache is a 2.5/2.5 Not something that would have cliffs involved. I haven't ever been there to check it out myself though. Has anybody on here been there?
