Re: Lock&Locks ?
They are in closeout up here at Meijer. Finding them in Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids is nearly impossible. I stopped by and raided the local Meijer in Coldwater. I have been / am working on write-ups and permission to get some new caches out in Hillsdale County, MI. I hope to have a lot of these out b...

Re: Motor City Cacheron in February 2010
From what I have seen being kicked around in the MiGO forums, it is an all day event. There will be different sessions throughout the day where a cacher will give a presentation on some topic. I know they have been asking for some help if someone has ideas for topics (especially if they would be wil...

Re: Silas Doty Cave-SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!
Yep, hunting is now permitted in Hillsdale County (and the rest of the state) on Sundays. The state government overrode our longstanding local ordinance (and 2 other counties) a couple of years ago that prohibited it calling us old-fashioned. I am not sure if I can make the trip down, but I will see...

Re: Another Defiance Meet & Eat?
I should also be there. A coworker just told me he had decided to have a Halloween Party. I replied back that "I'm in Defiance." He gave me a puzzled and shocked look saying I couldn't be against him having a party. I repeated myself and a few moments later he finally realized that I was r...

I have always believed that it is always easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permissionScouterJoe wrote:I'm still trying to book an excavation crew to dig the 75' hole. I keep getting grief about permits. Permits, I don't need no stinkin' permits.

Re: The Final Assaut on Bird's Eye View
I am in the same position as Geoflint, if anyone needs another hand. I have been trying to come up with something, but have not come up with anything that I could logistically pull off. If not, I will enjoy watching others attempting (and hopefully succeeding) in getting the cache.

Re: Another Defiance Meet & Eat?
I could make it down for most of the dates. I had a great time at the last one (the first event I ever attended) and the roads should hopefully be a little bit better this time.
