Re: Last chance at Litzenburg caches.
Just a reminder, all of the caches that will be archived after the Spring Fling have been in the part for at least two years and have been used for prior spring events.

Re: Last chance at Litzenburg caches.
OK, quit your whining! I talked to Mike and I will archive only the ones that need to be archived after the event.
If the park was larger, I would just add more caches.

Last chance at Litzenburg caches.
To help with the Spring Fling , many of my caches are going to be archived so new ones can be placed. This is assist the cachers coming to the event to find all seven caches in a timely manner and to help eliminate the cost of gas used to drive around looking for caches. Most of the local cachers ha...

Re: How often has this happened to you?
I found a true letter box once about 40 feet from a cache. I thought that the coordinates were off a little, but I did find the actual cache. I checked later to see if the letter box was a hybrid, but it wasn't listed on GC.com.

Re: Coexisting with hunting?
Geocaching gear during hunting season should include a safety vest when caching on public land that allows hunting. These vests can be purchased at any Meijer store for around $15.

Re: GPS recomendations
I have the Magellan GC and seem to like it. It is $200 and can be used completely paperless. The only thing that I know it will not do is the wherigo caches.

Re: Clyde area cemetery caches
That is one of the most impressive cemeteries I have ever been to. Go the week after Memorial Day, all of the markers have flags on them. I saw an unknown soldier, one of Andy's Raiders CMH winners, and a confederate flag on one of the headstones.
Why would anyone want to vandalize a cemetery?
