Magellan Meridian manual and cable -freebie

Post by GrizzFlyer »

Can anyone here use a Magellan Meridian "Quick Start Guide" and/or the proprietary serial cable for a Meridian? They are sitting here in my way and whoever can use them can have them. Can deliver to the NWOGEO party this Sunday if you're going. Also have a VERY dead Meridian Gold if you want it. It didn't like it's dunking in the Maumee River.

What did you get to replace it?

I got a Magellan Explorer XL quite a long time ago. Really wanted to go with a Garmin since Magellan's "customer service" is so deplorable, but they don't make one with the larger screen that I need when riding the motorcycle. So far its been a real nice unit.

Yogi loads geocaches into a Garmin Nuvi. They have screens from 3.5 to about 5.5in. You could use the Explorer for the final stage hunt.

I'm giving that some considerable thought. Easier to get mobile mounts too.
