I like that last one with the blue and grey Ohio. It would look really nice with just the blue enamel over an antique silver coin. Limited Edition could be blue enamel over shiny silver.

*shiny blue* I like sparkles!!!

I found out the icons are $150 and tracking is 1.50 per coin to groundspeak. This adds about $2.50 per coin that we purchase. Looking at this I'd anticipate 8 to 10 clams per coin, if we added all the "shizzle" to our "fazzizle."

Yea, but that's still pretty reasonable. I was reading this topic last night ( http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index. ... pic=116641 ). And it proved very informational. Also would it be possible to sell leftovers (if there would be any) at geocoinstore.com and maybe 1-5 on ebay? Then post a note to geochums and geocache ohio about the coin, and they may buy a few. Just an idea.

Limited edition?
Snippets:
3. All trackable coins must bear the text, “"Trackable on Geocaching.com" or “Track on Geocaching.com

2. The cost for a custom icon to be associated with your coins is a one time fee of $150. The icon design will need to be supplied to us in jpg or gif (non-animated) format in the following pixel sizes: 16x16 and 32x32

2. Format for coins can contain a prefix (like CA_________) and then be followed by a random combination of 4 letters & numbers (we'll generate the numbers, you specify the prefix if you'd like one). So, a typical coin number example would be: CA62h8 or CA124j.

3. 1,000 Code minimum required.

(Note that some of the coin manufacturers listed below have purchased blocks of numbers for resale in smaller quantities).

4. It generally takes 5-10 days to process the coin tracking number order.

I just want you all to know, I have been background watching all the great posts and ideas that have been flying around in here and the NWO Icons thread. These ideas are being tossed around with the company, Personal Geocoins, to try and submit some samples pictures for review. When I have a complete coin pic, I will be posting it here. I do not have any timing, but when I get something back, so will all of you. Thanks

P.S. Personal Geocoins is using the state shaped front with the walking man and some scenes/icons of NWO for the back to start.

I wonder when they'll be finished... next year, this year? I'm taking bets.

I was just messing, MoopAlong said he didn't have any timing, which of course makes complete sense when doing anything. Never get ahead of yourself or overestimate the minting process. That's what I've learned on the GC forums. I probably should have posted this, as it probably makes no sense. But I felt I had to defend myself. [/ post that I shouldn't have done]
