I was on NNL, Omnilink, Multi-Drive Through.

Probably too new.

Northwest Ohio Information & Software Exchange (more commonly known as NOISE). Just to show you how long ago that was, it cost me $1,500 for the 320 meg (yes megabyte) drive to run that puppy. TBBS (Jim Dunmyer) came along with deeper pockets and passed me shortly thereafter, but technically he was in Michigan. I learned a great many things being a sysop, but then the Internet came along (thanks Al Gore) and that was the end for the local BBS's.

I think Gore invented the first one which is in jeopardy because of global warming. Bush's is run by nucelear, neuclar, or nukelear power! :-)

Taking more than 2 seconds. Must be all the brain power that I drain on puzzle caches.

My name orriginates from an essence of power. If you have ever read into astronomy, you might notice that supernovae are the most powerful things in existence, with the exception of black holes which exist but arent really reachable or harnessable, A supernova was the reason everything exists (scientifically at least) the way it does. All elements at and beyond carbon (#7) were made from them (thats us!) Sort of a cool thing, so i shortened it to nova (ironic since a nova is actually supernova that dosent explode, but shhhh) and since that is a name and usually is taken, i tacked on an H to make it phonetically similar, and unique.

I have been an avid metal detectorist since I was about 14 or so. The name for someone that does that is TH'er. That just looks stupid if you ask me. I needed a name for my email address back in 1998 when I got my 1st computer so I wanted to use t-hunter. That was taken so I tried thunter. That was taken so I added my badge number from where I work to the end of it. I use that for a lot of things now. IRS tax returns, police reports...and so on. LOL
I just simply sign my logs T-Hunter now.

I can't tell you how many times one of us has been asked if we work at the zoo :) Or once when someone said they didn't know there was a zoo in Perrysburg. LOL. The name originates from us living in P-burg and the zoo part comes from having a few animals, making our house a "zoo" to live in. The "zoo" consists of -
Coal - black lab mix
Jasmine & Julius - cats
An occasional fish or two

That's it, really nothing very creative. Figured it was about time to reply to this thread.
