Date placed challenge?

Post by GrizzFlyer »

Anybody know of a challenge cache for dates placed? IOW, you must have found a cache that was placed on every date of the year, actual year doesn't matter, just the date placed (at least one on a January 1, one on a January 2, etc).

I currently qualify for 365. As of next Wednesday I will qualify for 366. :D

I have heard of this specific challenge, but don't know where they are.

GC2QAMT is the first one I found after a brief search. It is in Oregon State. I am too tired to look for one closer tonight. I did look through Ohio first, and didn't see one.

Just downloaded two GSAK macros.... the first told me I have 338 out of a possible 366 dates found. The second showed me all of the ones that I can use to fill in the missing dates. Looks like I have another challenge to work on and it looks like I will have to save my allowance for gas.... again. :D

Now all I need is for someone to place this cache somewhere in the area. (Hint, Hint)

366 Challenge - Finds By Placed Date GC2RGGX
366 Days Placed Challenge GC36PTJ
366 Finds by Placed Date GC33QTA
Finds by Placed Date Challenge Cache GC2ND7C
Placed On ??/??/???? GC2P10C - This one is a little harder as only certain types of caches are allowed per date

You will need to get out a calendar and a pen. Start making marks on the calendar on days you have. I wouldn't think you would have to go through more than 4000 of your 5500 finds...
Maybe you could just sweettalk a GSAK user. I'm sure there is a way to check someone else's stats.

Or send your finds gpx to s GSAK user and they can let run it for you.

Thanks Mo, I am now slightly less GSAK challenged. Now where to go for the "placed date" challenge?
