We could probably use a few more hands on Saturday for our last AAH/CITO of the year!
If you can attend, please mention it here and post your, "Will Attend" on the GC Event page!

Hope many hands will make for light work. I will not be able to attend this one, too many kids activities...all at 10am no less.
Due to new federal laws, the regular orange or yellow plastic vests that were supplied to us (or that you purchased on your own) are now no longer acceptable for roadside work.
Each time we arrange a trash pickup someone will have to visit the ODOT Lucas County garage to borrow the proper vests, and then return them the next week.
For this pickup Barnacle Bear has offered to be the designated vest picker-upper. Thanks Bob!
I have inquired with ODOT as to why we don't have a "Gold Star Group" sign added to the signs at each end of our 2 mile section. Supposedly after the 5th year a group is considered Gold Star. They said they'd get back to me.
Also, Sunday is the Apple Butter Fest, the largest event in Grand Rapids each year, so this trash pickup will be perfect timing to show everyone that NWOGEO is an active community organization.
Good Luck everyone!!
