Today some of us attended a summit meeting with Good Dog regarding the matters being discussed here. Mr Good Dog would prefer that the final assault be performed from multiple fronts with possibly some healthy competition between teams trying different tactics to accomplish what needs to be accomplished. That being said, in the absence of a successful find in the true spirit and unadulterated mother of additional logging requirements, he has agreed that the cockamaney plot to log finds after claiming a technical loop-hole in his cache description would be acceptable as a back-up plan. So, if necessary, a minimum of 38 people (2 feet per person average) need to be present, rain or shine. The 76th foot up can serve as the camera tripod.
Spread the word! This might make national news. Polish your piggies and get ready to get footloose!!!

But I was going to volunteer for the human cannonball idea we were talking about. I figured I was closest to being round as you can get. We just have to figure where to get a cannon big enough to shoot me that high. If we have the 38 people there they can then use the sheet to catch me right?

Good Idea! We found some cannons in a cemetery after we split up yesterday, if you held your breath we might be able to stuff you in.

I'm tracking the FedEx delivery of the jetpack I ordered from Martin Aircraft Products. Unfortunately it is not due to arrive until 2 days after the event. Bummer...

In a pinch I would also accept a few critters, as long as the feet are clearly visible. No cats, nothing with more than 4 feet. (no centepedes)

I have an ex wife we can shoot out of a cannon but I just assume aim it North to the Maumee! So, I guess that wouldn't be of any help.

Hell if 20 or so cachers chipped in ten - twenty dollars, you could probably rent a hotair ballon.Or buy 3 of those inflatable punching ballons, get a tank of helium and strap a camera to it.

Thinking outside of the box...
How about just digging a hole and lowering the sheet down?

Wonder if this would satisfy the cache requirements - before being toted off to the slammer...

You betcha. If you can dig a 75ft. deep hole in that clay without getting busted by the cops you deserve a find. :D

If you only dig halfway you only have to build the human pyramid half as big

This idea could maybe be reversed. Could we take the picture looking UP at a flying bed sheet?

Jeeez, where has all this ingenuity been?

If you could get a sheet to fly 75 ft high, and billowing out so you could read the number, that would be cool. Doubtfull, but it is called Blowing Green.

But then it would be "Worm's Eye View". LOL!

OK.... keeping with the "thinking outside of the box" theme....
Cache page states “It has to be an aerial photo taken from at least 75 feet. Let’s play with that.

A camera on a tripod about 6 feet high(provides aerial view) > into first mirror > into second mirror > to number on sheet.
Sheet to camera will be greater than 75 feet.

Technically, it should meet cache requirements…

It won't work because our number is "7". Back to the drawing board.
