Did anyone sign up to have a Jeep Travel Bug sent to them?
I only saw mention of the contest just a few days ago and the website and rules for this years contest aren't even officially up and running yet.
I opened up my Groundspeak Weekly Notification to see this
The 2007 Jeep Geocaching Challenge begins on July 1st, 2007 in the USA. This year, it's a red die-cast Jeep Commander vehicle with a Travel Bug tag attached. As of today, we're enlisting geocachers to hide approximately
8,000 Jeep Travel Bugs in caches located in the lower 48 United States. If you are interested in placing a 2007 Jeep Travel Bug into a cache near you, please complete the request form, located here (while supplies last):
http://jeep.geocaching.com/signup/
Visit
http://jeep.geocaching.com on July 1st for details about the 2007 Jeep Geocaching Challenge.
But when I go to the signup page it says that they are all gone ?
Are they really?
Sheesh...I hope there's some at GeoBash again, cause I missed out.

I got one on order, and the next day they were all gone as you say.

I miss the days when geocaching was a secret hobby that you had to accidentally discover.
Ah, the good ol' days of 2003.

If I do actually receive it I'll let it be discovered before releasing into the wild (black hole)

First things first, let's see if one shows up, they claim they should be in hand within 2 weeks. We'll see. I may be out of town for the M&E, but could give it to a trusted agent (vS)to bring to the meeting. Just don't let Barnacle Bear get involved.

I signed up for one too before they closed it. We'll see if I actually get it...

I'm sure some were held back for the MWGB, considering it is a Mega Event.l

Hey, I'm out of town, mine is probably stuck in a pile of bills overflowing onto the ground in front of my rural mailbox.
