It's only a buck savings. I agree weekends would be best.jhenkel wrote:I talked to a group sales guy the other day there and he was saying that all Saturday night & Friday night games are fireworks games, so they would still be $10 a ticket no matter how many we got. I figured a Friday/Saturday would be the best so that people coming from out of town could stay out late. Sunday games are usually 6 p.m., so that's not a whole lot earlier.ScouterJoe wrote:This is off the hens website.

Any weekend game would work for us & sounds like fun. Definitely make it an event & the flash mob thing sounds cool also.

I work for the Mudhens so I could try to make it Geocaching day at the Mudhens where we could promote NWOGeo and try to get more people involved.

Re: Mudhens Game
Good idea! Why don't you msg jhenkel and discuss it with her, since she thought of it and may want to host the event herself if not NWOGEO.jdogbgsu wrote:I work for the Mudhens so I could try to make it Geocaching day at the Mudhens where we could promote NWOGeo and try to get more people involved.

Is a Friday night close enough to the weekend to be considered a weekend game?

Re: Mudhens Game
Yes, but my thought is that for those coming from Findlay/Defiance areas trying to make a 7 p.m. game may not be feasible. If you don't get off work until 5:30, pile everyone into the car, etc.....you MIGHT make it. If we do this on a Saturday, it could be a bit more relaxed for those folks. Again - open to suggestion! If we do a Friday night we'll just trade our season tickets in for another game!TeamMina wrote:Is a Friday night close enough to the weekend to be considered a weekend game?

I'm from Defiance and I do 2 paper routes and it's usually close to 5 before I get done. 7 would be cutting it close! I don't know if T-Hunter is interested in going but he works 2nd shift so he would be able to go on a Friday.
Good Luck & Happy Hunting!

Re: Mudhens Game
Hwy while we're generating discussion (finally!) about this whole deal - what about voting the next poll about picnic or no? If we do a picnic, start time would be 1/2 hour before the game. So a Friday night game the picnic will start at 6:30, making it even harder for out of town people.

I think jhenkel, jdogbgsu, and ScouterJoe should have a powwow.
A preceeding FlashMob Event or some alternative event before will be necessary anyway to avoid conflicts with GC Event rules.
