Lock&Locks ?

Post by bravo872 »

Not sure if it has got something to do with the Holidays or what but I have noticed a real shortage of Lock&Lock containers at the usual spots. We have been to all local walmarts and meijers even one of the targets and they had almost none to speak of. I have a box of regular size containers but I'm out of the smallest square size.

Check Dollar tree @ great eastern, they have lock n lock wanna be's for $1 that may sustain through the shortage. Also check into the Rubbermaid lockables. Usually a bit larger, but they work well.

They are getting hard to find in stores. Mrs GrizzFlyer bought the last of them the other day at Meijers in Maumee, a 4-box set of the small ones. Amazon.com has a bunch of them, free shipping for >$25 order.

I have been told by several sources that Big Lots has them sometimes. We have always gotten ours at Meijer though. :(

They are in closeout up here at Meijer. Finding them in Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids is nearly impossible. I stopped by and raided the local Meijer in Coldwater. I have been / am working on write-ups and permission to get some new caches out in Hillsdale County, MI. I hope to have a lot of these out by MWGB.

Just about all the L&Ls came from Coldwater Meijer. I have more decons and ammo cans in the garage as well as a few custom containers.

I have 5 caches ready, just never got out to put them out this fall. I am hoping to put on an event (hopefully 20+ caches) early summer and I have a series or two in mind aside from that. I am hoping to get a couple of the big parks in the Hillsdale area opened up. They have a lot of land for caches just trying to set up meetings.

While enjoying a scenic trip to the local "The Walmarts", I happened to notice that Rubbermaid and Sterlite both have Lock & Lock alternatives.
