Need help with cords

Post by WISDAS »

We are a family that is new to geocaching but have become addicted in a very short time. I am having one problem though with ones that have multi steps. Example: N41 12.345 you find a marker that you are suppost to get a hint that is say 67 and you are to minus 67 from to get the new cords for the next step. Where do you minus is from the 12 or the .345. See we have attempted several multis and have not done well with finding the next steps. Thank you =)

It is probably from the .XXX part of the coordinates. Usually the owner will say subtract from (.XXX) What is the particular cache you are talking about so we can take a look and possibly help you out more. Also, most cache owners are more than happy to provide additional help at your request, all you have to do is shoot an email to them.

Yes it will be from the last set of digits unless they spell it out otherwise.

It would be a very big multi if you subtracted from the xx. ... subtracting one would be almost a mile where I live.
