Re: 10/10/10 event
It's fine, one event in the area is plenty. 10 pm is not going to happen. Have fun

Too bad, we thought the 10pm seemed like a good one.
BTW, for a handyman, it's "vice-versa".

Re: 10/10/10 event
The event I published was not intended to step on toes. Jane and I thought it would be fun. I never checked the forums and did not know of this thread. I've disabled my event. I've asked Mike if he wants me to cancel mine. I'm perfectly willing to do so.

Re: 10/10/10 event
I know we aren't directly involved in either, but we are fully in favor of Double Events. They can both be at the same time, or maybe one moving to 10pm instead. It will create more availability for people to make it, wherever they live. Or be able to make this event twice, double event smileys!

Re: 10/10/10 event
I am not a bit concerned about Joe having his event. I will not have a 2nd event and take away from his. I work later in the day so a p.m. event by me will not happen. I hope everyone has a great time.

I'll be hosting a duel at 10:10 in my back yard today. Winner gets to host the event on 10-10-10

Re: 10/10/10 event
Okay, so what will it take to get one or both of the events back on track?

Re: 10/10/10 event
We went from one, to two, to none, in just one night.
Never knew geocaching could sometimes feel like the stock market.
For the while we had two 10X5 events were in place, we really liked the idea.
One that cachers in Toledo, and just over the border, to get to easily in Sylvania. And another on the outskirts those cachers not living in the big city could go to as well.
Felt like it was a great idea, albeit accidental, to service more NWOhio cachers (whether NWOGEO members or not) with a greater ability to be part of the event.

Re: 10/10/10 event
I was hoping Joe would have his UN archived. I will get the other one around again and try to get it submitted tomorrow.
