The heat wave has broken, it's finally a sweatshirt and jeans kinda fall day, and I want breakfast Grand Rapids finally has an informal place that opens for breakfast at 6am and Lynn and I are going. It would have been nice to meet some. So, I thought I would start a thread for others to post to for such occasions. Maybe they are planned a week in advance or just the night before. I'm using the format below, but choose your own.

Mine goes kinda like this. I woke this morning at 6:45 after getting to bed about 1 am. I had to go get my sons for the weekend. Today is my 41st birthday so I thought it would be nice to take the whole family for breakfast. I remembered that in Oakwood nearby they are having their annual homecoming. Every year the fire department that I belonged to for 20 years hosts their breakfast from 7 am to 11. It is a free will donation and the food is great. So we got home gathered everyone in the van and off we went for a nice breakfast and all the while supporting the local fire department.

Meet at Sam & Charlies Waffle House 8:00 - 8:30 AM. The coffees hot and plenty of it, lots of breakfast specials and right now they're even making pumkin waffles. I'll post some coordinates later but it's near Toledo Hospital, Monroe and Central, driveway off Central. Hope to see some of you there to chat about latest caching adventures etc.
