Geocaching in Resorts

Post by Hydnckr »

A new type of pay-to-play. Go rent a room at an expensive lodge. Then buy the package for $75 that allows you to go hunt for non-gc.com caches that contain trinkets and t-shirts. Hmmm......

USA Today 1/19/2006

I hereby offer my house as a resort, and for $75 bucks will offer guided tours of caches within the Oak Openings Metropark. ;)

I'll even throw in a bagel and coffee for breakfast.

I've actually stayed at one of those places, Tenaya Lodge, Fish Camp, Calif outside Yosemite National Park. It was long before geocaching, however.

I'd gladly pay $75 to have Hydnckr escort me to all the caches in Oak Openings after dark! I really need some new t-shirts.

after dark is no problem - I've got the flashlight gloves. ;)

Plus I'll bring GC Marauder with me, apparently he's good at being places he shouldn't be after dark

I'm emotionally scarred for life... I just know this will haunt me every time I try for an FTF from now on If I could only figure out a way to warp the space/time continuum, then nobody would know what time I was actually there.

I read somewhere that time could be folded in half - or was that just a theory?

Anyone? Anyone?? Bueller??
