Commercial cache alert!!

Post by EASYRN1 »

A new cache popped up this am in Elida, so I went for a FTF, and found alot more!! This cache is an attempt to take advantage of free advertising and should be avoided. The owner is the company, the container is a product still in its cardboard wrapper, the location is in plain sight under the outside company sign, the log is specially-designed for the company and asks for addresses phone numbers and such, and the contents are fake dollars redeemable at said company. I'm not sure how this slipped by the reviewer, but I sent him an e-mail about my trip to Range Kleen. This surely violates the rule about commercialism, I geocache to see new and fun places, not shop!!

Posted a SBA and said the cache was already archived.

The cache page itself doesn't advertise anything, so it looked fine. Thanks for letting me know other things were afoot.
