Wanted Magellan
Well it seems that my trusty SporTrak Map is on the fritz so I am looking for another Magellan. I already have the MapSend Streets & Destinations software, that is why I am wanting another Magellan.

Mrs. Good Dog's Sport T. M is also on the fritz. It won't acquire a satalite. I'm going to contact Magellen and see if they will give me a deal. My last one also died that is how I ended up with a Meridian. They sold me one for the cost of a STM. This time I'm going for a Explorist 400.

Re: Wanted Magellan
I just cleared it all out and reloaded the firmware and all seems fine now. Mine was doing the same thing as Mrs. GD is doing.

Firmware? Is that like software that gets excited?Dubbin1 wrote:I just cleared it all out and reloaded the firmware and all seems fine now. Mine was doing the same thing as Mrs. GD is doing.
I don't think we got any CD's or anything, and how would you clear it out? I tried to do the initialization thing again, but that didn't help.

Re: Wanted Magellan
You will need to download the firmware off of magellan's website. You will see step by step instructions on how to load it. Theres even a chance that there is an updated firmware for it.GoodDog wrote: Firmware? Is that like software that gets excited?
